"As
much as we Montanans love our rivers and our history, we do not
yet have a unifying, long-term vision for their future!"
Our Montana's
membership on the Governor's River Recreation Advisory committee
has resulted in recommendations supporting Our Montana's
goals and objectives. The Committee's consensus final report has been presented to the
FWP Commission.
The Montana Wildlife
Federation, Billings Rod and Gun Club and the Public Lands
Access Association are cooperating on a project to develop a
river permitting process called the Equitable Access Model, for
allocation of river permits directly to citizens.
Pryor Mt Conservation -
Our Montana has organized a coalition of organizations to work
with the public land management agencies to develop an
ecosystem-based plan for the entire Pryor Mountain Range.
